I finally got my copy of the Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian official illustrated movie guide! This book is full of great info on the making of Caspian, and has some awesome photos of the whole cast and crew. I’ve scanned most of the pages featuring Anna, so check out the gallery for some huge scans! Here are some teasers:
Anna recently attended the premier of the film The Duchess starring fellow British actress Keira Knightly. We don’t have any HQ photos yet, but hopefully we will soon! Here are the MQ photos with no watermarks:
Pure Grace is going through a few changes, mostly with the structure of the website itself. Nothing to worry about for visitors really. I upgraded the site to Wordpress 2.6.1 today, so some things may be a bit funky until new plugins for this version are released. Until then, if you spot something out of whack, please feel free to email me.
Speaking of site updates, I’ve added a new feature to the site in the Fan Corner: DVD screenshots. So far I have only capped the Girl with a Pearl Earring (2003) DVD, but The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe (2005) is coming shortly! Here is a little news blurb about Anna and her acting career that was developed at the Elizabeth Arden 8 hour part recently. You all may be intrigued:
“The actress Anna Popplewell found fame in the recent Chronicles Of Narnia films. For now, though, she wants to concentrate on her degree. “I’m at Oxford studying English literature,” she told me at a party for Elizabeth Arden. “I’ve done one year and have two to go, so I’m not doing anything concrete at the moment. I’m reading scripts with quite a critical eye.”
Contrary to Popplewell’s prim on-screen image, when she does return to movies she is up for anything. “I wouldn’t just do a naked scene for the sake of it but I wouldn’t rule anything out,” she added, gamely.”
